Witch & Wizard
A young adult novel, Witch & Wizard is an extremely interestingly written novel by James Patterson. The book starts off with a curious and sad starting which slowly unfolds the mysterious magical twists in it and finally ends in a classical high note.
Witch & Wizard is about the Totalitarian society which is taking away the kids from their loving parents and later locks them out in the prisons. The story is about two siblings, an elderly Whit and his fifteen year old sister Wisty Allgood. The changing time has changed every aspect of life, and this is when their life turns completely upside-down.
The government seizes children from the society and imprisons them away from their parents. This also becomes the sadly fate of the two siblings who are imprisoned by the government. They are separated from their parents and locked inside the dark cells for no known reasons. But, during this imprisonment, Whit and Wisty start discovering some very magical things about them. The two discover their hidden magical powers and other strange abilities, something that they had never dreamt earlier. Is this the discovery of immense power, something that would just turn around their fate along with their parents or even of the entire world?
The astonishing story of Witch & Wizard quite wonderfully brings out the beauty of magic and how it can be used to save the lives of innumerable people, all captured by the government, under the fear of being witches and wizards.
