Your professor will be in a better position to guide you through the right books on the subject. Since you are using the physics study book for reference, it is likely that you may want to go through more than one book in order to strengthen your learning or reaffirm your findings. In fact going through two or three books on the subject may be a good idea if you have the time, as it will ensure that you understand the topic from all perspectives. In case one book does not cover a part, another book might possibly be able to help you. In addition, most textbooks and physics reference books have end of chapter exercises and problems for the students to solve and gauge their learning. Different books provide you with different exercise problems and it may be a good idea to go through them.
